At Poetic Kinetics, I work in collaboration with the Creative Director to provide design and digital support in creating his vision of kinetic large scale art installations that range in type. From going through several iterations of the design in concept and schematic phases of projects, to creating digital representations of them through renderings, assembly and fabrication drawings, I am also experienced in assisting in the manual fabrication of these elements. Projects I have been involved in include:
Neo Cloud, a sculptural cloud lit to reflect different times of day and seasons suspended in an atrium (where I was design lead)
Overview Effect, a mobile and a animatronically rigged 30’ astronaut sculpture that engaged with Coachella festivalgoers (design and operation)
Visions in Motion, part of the Skynet series, done to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall (design and assembly)
Moments in Flight and Skyline Stream, a Skynet in the form of a spiral and butterflies that dance in the wind (design, assembly and installation)
